1. As many countries around the world still implement border control as one of the epidemic-prevention measures, NCTU faculty, staff and students are urged to suspend their outbound (inbound) travel plan before, during, and after the summer vacation to avoid being stranded abroad due to foreign countries’ border control measures and being subject to quarantine upon re-entry, which will result in disruptions of daily routines and work.

2. Due to the limited capacity of the University’s quarantine dormitories, foreign students (overseas Chinese students, Mainland Chinese students, international students) stranded overseas because of the epidemic and scheduled to return to university during the summer vacation will be prioritized. For foreign students who are currently on campus and are planning on leaving Taiwan during the summer vacation, the university will not be able to provide quarantine dormitories upon their return to Taiwan. The said students will be required to undergo home quarantine at their residences in Taiwan or in a quarantine hotel that provides support for epidemic control and comply with rules and regulations announced by the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).

3. If you have any questions regarding the epidemic prevention, please call the head military instructor Capt.Chen, Hsiao-Pang (Ext. #50701).
