Dr. Marcus Pan is the science director of Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC), where he leads ~200 integrated circuit and design automation research projects supported by ~500 academic and industrial researchers and 20 international companies. Prior to joining SRC, Dr. Pan worked at Boeing from 2016-2021, serving as program manager to lead integrated circuit research projects from DARPA, OUSD and AFRL. From 2011-2015, he was with HRL laboratories and Qualcomm as a senior design engineer to lead mixed-signal electronics development for commercial, automobile and aerospace wireless communication. Dr. Pan received his Ph. D in Electrical Engineering from University of California, San Diego. He was Boeing Technology Journal (BTJ) associate editor, IEEE Coastal Los Angeles Section (CLAS) Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) Chair. He is currently serving under Design Automation Conference (DAC) Technical Committee, IEEE Electrical Design, Modeling and Simulation Technical Committee (TC-EDMS) of the IEEE Electronic Packaging Society (EPS), IEEE BiCMOS and Compound Semiconductor Integrated Circuits and Technology Symposium (BCICTS) Technical Committee, IEEE International Microwave Symposium (IMS)Technical Committee, board of Center for the Design of Analog-Digital Integrated Circuits (CDADIC) and co-directing Texas Analog Center of Excellence (TxACE). His recent panels include Pre-research panel during CHIPS R&D Summit, CAD4Sec “Quantifiable End-to-end lifecycle Security Assurance” during DAC60, DOE EES2 roadmapping workshop and Sandia National Lab AI-codesign workshop, “The Path to Sustainable IC EcoSystem” during ISSCC 2023 and “Superpanel: Successful Co- Package Design in Post-Moore Era” during 1st ChipletSummit. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
