Educational objective of the Institute of Electronics

  1. Establish students’professional knowledge: cultivate students to master basic and professional knowledge of electronic engineering, combine with practical operation thus realize the purpose of integrating theories and practice, andmake students have the ability of inference, analysis, innovation and integration.

  2. Practice diverse learning, educate students with profound knowledge, communication skill and team spirit for meeting challenges in different stages of life,and make them understand professional ethics and social responsibility.

  3. Broaden international perspective, create international learning environment to make student know about the trend of domestic and foreign society and industry, andcultivate them to become electronic elites and leading talents in the world.

Core Competence of the Institute of Electronics

The field of electronic science and technology is wide. In order to pursue specialization, the institute enrolls students in two groups, solid state electronics group and circuit and system group. The institute requires the graduates to have the following core competence upon graduation:

  1. Professional Knowledge

(1)professional knowledge about solid state electronics and circuit system

(2)ability to conduct solid state electronics or circuit system design, experiment and data analysis; ability to discover, analyze and solve problems and conduct creative thinking

(3)ability to use computer supportive software and instruments

(4)ability to conduct interdisciplinary integration

(1) understand the domestic and foreign trend of electronic information industries
